Om Ganeshaya Namaha:

How to Follow this JNSAR method to Trading/ Investing:

1. Read about it HERE.

2. More on SAR method in a PDF file.

I leave you with "Back testing" the method as per the JNSAR shown for each day since 23rd Dec.09 in the following file.

Dear Sirji,

Please clarify the following :

(1) The values in the JNSAR table are for spot or futures..?

(2) Similar to Nifty JNSAR are there any rules...like for eg. buying two lots in futures, booking one @ 5 % and the other @ JNSAR etc....

(3) Any other relevant useful information....

Appreciate your time and efforts.

Best regards,
CS

Dear Sirji,

After studying the JNSAR table, and the downloaded JNSAR excel file below are further doubts....

(1) The HIGH / LOW / VALUES in the JNSAR table do not correspond with those in JNSAR excel file (JNSAR for Nifty.50 stocks)...

(2) I hope the HIGH / LOW / CLOSE values in the JNSAR table are for the previous trading day i.e. Thursday the 09.Sept.2010 and not the one we can expect on Monday the 13.Sept.2010....?

(3) The HIGH / LOW values in the JNSAR table are also confusing with some stocks having LOW column value more than HIGH column value...? For others the HIGH and LOW column values are same....?

(4) The JNSAR values for table and the excel file correspond for 13.Sept.2010...???

Appreciate your time and efforts.

Please excuse for asking too many questions...

Best regards,
CS

Dear Sirji,

Few more doubts...

(1) The stock may breach the JNSAR level several times during the day, but may close above or below the JNSAR value as per the trend.

(2) Suppose a stock breaches JNSAR while going up and I take a long position, what should be my SL..? If after some time the stock trades below JNSAR what to do...?

(3) Similar what should be the trading plan if one takes a short position...?

(4) I take a long position as per JNSAR, the stock trades firmly above the JNSAR for the rest of the day... I carry forward my long..I have a new JNSAR at the EOD....Next day the stock trades range bound and crosses the new JNSAR couple of times...How to deal with such situations...?

Appreciate your time and efforts.

Best regards,
CS

@ CAP,

The values are for Spot only.

Thank you for the error in the JNSAR table High, low, closes. I have corrected and uploaded the new one.

Yes, taking minimum 2 lots is advisable to lock in some profits..the exact amount may be as per your discretion/ study.

I have amply explained using JNSAR for Nifty. It is a simple method and there is nothing much can be added to it. You must study its performances and improve upon it based on your own experience, if needed.

The purpose of JNSAR is to capture most of the large upmoves and downmoves. And that is possible only be being patient and disciplined to follow the method in totality.

Anyone wishing to employ for investing purposes may do so by "Following only the BUY Signals".

I'll update JNSAR everyday.

Best wishes.

What should be the profit target once the scrip is above/below JNSAR levels. I suppose it is approx 50 points in nifty..how much it will be in stocks? or is it on some % basis or just trail with new JNSAR.
